Welcome to the Northumberland Remote Control Club website. NRCC was created to bring people together with the common interest and passion for radio remote control scale models including 4×4 cars, boats, drones, construction trucks, drift cars and many others.  The club welcomes visitors of all ages to join and visit regular gatherings to engage with our friendly members who are always ready to talk about all things RC.

Where do we meet?

The club meets in Blyth, Northumberland on a Wednesday evening in the Blyth RNLI Lifeboat Station.  Please note: its not every Wednesday evening. Check What’s On.

What can I expect to happen at NRCC?

Club nights range from just simply chatting and socialising to workshops and presentations from industry professionals. The club has a wide range of interests, rotation of subjects gives a good balance for everyone involved.

You don’t need to own a remote control model to visit the club. If you are considering a new hobby or considering buying a RC model please drop in and have a chat with clubs members. We do have the HPI Venture FJ Cruiser club car which is available for testing your skills the indoor hill climb. See below promo video of the HPI Venture.

What does the future hold for NRCC?

As the club evolves it will naturally take its own direction depending on members areas of interests. The future of the club will be what the committee and members allow it to be.

The bigger picture for NRCC is to hopefully be able to open a club house with dedicated dioramas and action zones for members to work, play and socialise around.
